Kenneth Hoopkins Simmons (Charles Addison Walker)

I NEED HELP to tear down my most stubborn brick wall.
In 1902, Clifford Walker lived in Tacoma, Pierce County, WA. On February 14, 1906, Helen Walker gave birth to Charles Addison Walker, naming Clifford as the Father. I have found no record of marriage or birth. In April, 1907, Helen Wallker gave Charles up for adoption. The paper work says that she was divorced. I have found no record of divorce. In June, 1907, Charles was adopted by Arthur and May Hopkins Simmons of Milton, Pierce County WA. Very shortly after that, May died of childbirth complications. Arthur then married Edith Price. Edith's name was then inserted in the adoption papers and the adoption was completed. At that time, the child's name was changed to Kenneth Hopkins Simmons. Kenneth grew up in Pierce Co., WA and married Mildred Sweet, also of Pierce Co. They had a daughter, Phyllis (myself), then divorced. Mildred and Kenneth each remarried. Kenneth gave up his parental rights to Mildred and her new husband, George Ceratto. Phyllis was adopted by George Ceratto and her name became Phyllis Ceratto. Kenneth also remarried, Bertha Heid, had two sons and none of these children knew of these facts until grown. Now, I would like to know about that child Charles Adison Walker, he being my biological father. If anyone can shed any light on this family, I would very much appreciate your help.---------------Phyllis Evans
