salutations,from puerto rico...my father is a direct decendent of don fidel. first the p.r.flag was made by mariana bracetti.the flag you are speaking about was found by a member of the family but no one wants to say who got it..the lands of our family are now colindancias de sabana grande .don fidel is buried in that providence. our history in yauco is a profound and rich in flavors of la patria. don fidel was a brave and man who loved his puerto rico .he felt and so did my grandmother that the spaniards and los gringos did not belong on our island. hope this give a little glimpes of family history, my father lives in yauco and i live in aguadilla..hope this helps a little bit..
