I'd like to know what all you have on Gordon. Do you have his parents and siblings and where he was born? If you can help with any of that I'm sure I can figure out the rest. Gordon was my gggrandfather.I know his wife and children and that he was in the CSA. I'm being led to believe that Josiah Thompson was his father but the 1850 census says he was 9 instead of the 14 he should have been so I don't know and that would be in Wythe Co, Va. That he was born in Va is without question but where is the question.
