A possible Link

Hello

I'm researching my Great-Grandfather's demise - he was lost in Scapa Flow on HM Tug Char on 16 January 1915. I have a letter in my possession from a Mary Ann van Hemelryk written 27th May 1915 from 1181st Lachine Montreal Canada. The letter contains condolences on the death of Camille. Family legend has it that Camille saved the life of a van Hemelryk but whose, I do not know. Perhaps you can help!!!??? Camille was a Merchant Seaman, born in Jersey, Channel Islands in 1888. He married Sarah and had three children, the eldest Florence, is my grandmother. If anybody out there can help tie up this piece of family history, I would be overjoyed. I seem to have drawn a blank. With very best wishes to you all.
