François-Xavier Comtois married M.-Madeleine Trudeau on 30 September 1834 in Varennes, Verchères County, Québec. Family lore holds that Madeleine (Madeline), daughter of Joseph Trudeau and Madeleine Neville, had Native roots. Can anyone prove that with documentation of some kind?
