Trudeau Metis connections

François-Xavier Comtois married M.-Madeleine Trudeau on 30 September 1834 in Varennes, Verchères County, Québec. Family lore holds that Madeleine (Madeline), daughter of Joseph Trudeau and Madeleine Neville, had Native roots.
