Charles B. Steele born 1872 in Illinois. Died prob. in Hartford, Michigan. He married Minnie B. Stratton.

Lauretta Steele born 1873. Died young and without issue.

William Burton (Bert) Steele born August 27, 1875 in Danville, Illinois. Died 1956 in Indiana. Married Blanche Hyacinth Householder December 14, 1897 in Illinois. (Children: Ellen B. Steele Marshall, Francis M. Steele, Grace M. Steele Ginder, Gertrude C. Steele Phenicie, Martha Steele Coffenberry, May S. Singel and Walter W. Steele).

James Albert Steele born 1880 in Vermilion County, Illinois. Married Della Mae Brown. (Children: Roy A. Steele, Carl K. Steele, Dale M. Steele and Janey Steele Barnett).

Francis "Frank" Marion Steele born August 31, 1883 in Illinois and died March 1963 in Iowa. Married Bertha E. Bowman. (Children: Francis M. Steele, Jr., Elton B. Steele and Marjorie J. Steele Bowles).

After the death of Nancy, Joseph Hampton Steele married Lina Bell Harmon. They were married June 22, 1901 in Indiana. She was born in 1874 in Indiana and died 1934 in Illinois. They had the following children:

Joseph Henry Steele born November 14, 1905 in Hammond, Indiana. He died September 18, 1992 in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Theodore Redmond Steele born April 8, 1907. He died November 15, 1983 in Gladstone, Oregon. He married first Katie Marie Cosat. (Children: Theodore R. Steele, Elizabeth A. Steele Wilson, Peggy M. Steele Casciato, James J. Steele and Harry D. Steele). He also married a woman named Helen. (Children: William M. Steele and Danny L. Steele).
