Roberts/Ransdell

I'm searching for my mother's grandmother ancestry. Her name was Emaline Roberts b:Abt.1856 d: 1934. She married Robert Ransdell and they had 8 children: Omer, Matty, Ed, Sue Ellen (Sudi), Ethel, Lulubelle (Lula), Virgil, and Jewell Gaye. They lived in MO then moved to Henderson County, IL around 1915-1918. Emaline and her brother was raised by her Irish wash lady (Ransdell) after her father (Roberts)died fighting for the confederacy and her mother (name unknown) died of a broken heart. It was said in the family that she came from wealth and related somehow to the Baker's of Virginia. She had in her possesion the deed to Jersey City, NJ. Emaline had an older brother, Daniel Roberts.
