Fannie Rainey
Posted by kstewart <kstewart0956@wowway.com> on Mon, 17 Oct 2005
Looking for information on Fannie Rainey. She first appeared in the 1900 census for Chester Co, SC - living with her parents: Moses Rainey and Isabelle Sanders/Saunders - age 14. They were living in the household of Anderson Green, who was Isabelle's step-father. Fannie's sister:Catherine was also living in the Green household.Fannie is not listed in the 1910 census for Chester County, SC. There is a Fannie living with Isabelle, but this Fannie is Catherine's daughter.
Between 1910-1911 Isabelle, Catherine and Catherine's two children moved to Forsyth Co, NC.( I assumed that Fannie - Isabelle's daughter moved with them).
There is a picture of Fannie and on the back is FANNIE CHAMPION-BROWN.
A Fannie was living with a William Brown in the 1920 census for Forstyh Co, Nc and a Fannie was living with an Edward Champion in the 1930 census for Warren Co, NC. No marriage record has been found for William or Edward.
Fannie had a daughter named Catherine Champion who was living with Fannie's sister in the 1930 census for Franklin Co, OH.
Fannie died a BROWN in Washington, DC.
