Rapuano

Yes, I was shocked the first time I saw someone else with the same last name. Actually they had the same name as my brother and I knew it was not him. An email came through our fax machine at work over 8 years ago with the name Michael Anthony Rapuano from the Tampa/St.Pete area. I called just to verify it was not my brother but that was as far as it went. Then several months ago I was watching
"Trading Spouses" on the Fox channel and there was a family in Chatanooga, Tenn., and a young girl on it was named Candy Rapuano. I just started wondering if there were more.

My father is Pasquale Rapuano, but we were never close. He was a truck driver from Florida which is where I am from. I know that his parents came over from Northern Italy and he was born in Conn. in 12-29-1912. I would like to find a birth cert. that had his parents name so I could have more info.

I also looked in the internet white pages for different states and put in the name Rapuano. I was surprised at the number that came up. Have not tried to contact any of them because of other obligations at this time.

I hope in the future to be able research this further. It was nice to find someone that I could relate all this to. Thank you. Pat (Rapuano) Mann.
