Native American hertiage

I was told as a child by my mother and grandparents that I have a native american great grandmother. George Pearson was born in Ohio and married a young Indian woman. They lived in Grovesprings, Wright County, Missouri. I think the young woman was named Margareth Paul who was from Ohio. I have researched this matter for years and can't come up with any facts. I would love to find out more about my native american heritage. Can anyone help?
