"Patterson" adoptee seeking family

I'm searching for leads to any of my 'natural' family. I am 38 and have never met any of them nor am I sure of where to find them.

Mother: maiden name "Brenda Joyce Patterson". A Canadian citizen born in 1950, last known address (in 1971) was RR 1, Milton Ontario.

Father: "Steve Connors". Also born in 1950, living in Mississauga Ontario (1970) but believed to have moved to Halifax Nova Scotia, unaware of my birth.

Me: "Robert Lee Patterson". Born July 16, 1971 at Oakville (Ontario) Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

I've been searching since 1993 and finally received my birth registration this week, releasing her full name. She previously gave my fathers full name but didn't sign a declaration of paternity. I also have detailed "non-identifying" family member information (age, height/build, job, hobbies, etc). I'm hoping these details can help me find any of them (or at least medical records). Just not sure where to go at this point; she may have married and changed her name.

I have many questions but no expectations or judgments, I simply would like to make a connection.
