I just can across this bulletin about your father and it could be that we are related. My fathers name was Ferdinand George Frijn and also was born in Indonesia. His fathers name was Abraham Frijn. If memory serves me right I may even have been at your fathers funeral. This would have been the only time that I had contact with your side of the family, but if there is a connection I would love to know more.

Hi Ronald, I'm very sorry, but I just read your reaction!
I think that we are related, because my fathers father was also Abraham Frijn. He was married twice, so maybe your father and mine were half brothers.
I hardly knew my grandmother, because she was ill when we were little.
Me, my brother and sister live in Europe (The Netherlands and Denmark)
