Hi, I've been trying to find information to build a family tree. My Mother's family is very well documented. My Father's is a different story. My Grandfather was an orphan, I've just learned about the orphan trains and may think that is how he ended up in Kentucky. Our family name is Jones, searching the orphan train databases I've found another spelling, Johnes. To me it seems it could be Swedish. I have very Nordic features so it could be that I may be Swedish. I have been looking for Jones, and are now including Johnes.
