I was adopted and my birth mothers last name was Aho and I was wondering what nationality it was ???????

It is probably Finnish, however it could also be Polynesian from Tongo in the South Pacific. Luckily for you it should be extremely easy to figure out which one it is. ;)

My maiden name is Aho. From what I have been told we were originally from Germany, but migrated to Finland during the war. Their are both highland and lowland Aho's, we were highland.Aho's are considered Finnish. Hope this help you some.

The Aho name is from Finland, and is as popular there as Smith or Brown in the Unired States, from what I understand.
