HIRD FAMILY

Hello, I am just starting a search for any members of the HIRD family from AUSTRALIA.
Parents Harvey and Gem (nee Strachan), born in Brisbane, QLD
Paternal grandparents JAMES and VIOLET(nee Callan)
James Hird came from a large family (10 brothers..Stephen & Mervyn???maybe). He was killed in a motorcycle accident in Brisbane, Qld around 1928. Possibly with links to the Hird family from Yorkshire, England.

I would be happy to hear from family members also searching.
