Thank you so much for your article. Since the death of my father Jorge Izquierdo Martinez, born 1920; on January 27, 2010 I have been doing a geneology search for my roots. I had to write his Eulogy and had to write a little history. Both my parents are from Nuevo Leon. My mothers name is Hilda Guzman. Her parents owned a Rancho in Nuevo Leon, Iturbide. Anastacio Guzman was her father and he was a Presidente Municipal and Judge. My fathers last name Izquierdo shows up repeatedly in Jewish databases. Don Jose Maria Izquierdo is my grandfathers name, whom I have never met. I have known virtually nothing regarding my history. All we have known growing up is that we were different and the spanish we spoke was different. I have had my older brother DNA tested and will receive the results in late April of 2010Display message for printing | Print Entire Thread
