Looking for Kirkland-Jenkins Connection

My grandparents are from Lowndes County. My grandmother's name was Ethel Rivers. Her Mother name was Hattie Kirkland and Hattie's mother name was Sarah J. Kirkland. I highly suspect that she was a Jenkins. She had a grandson named Laeb Jenkins who died in December 1931 at the age of 29. Sara was married to Henry Kirkland who was born in 1850, French and Indian descent.
