need help PLEASE find my Dads Father

Okay to make a long story short my dad has never known his real father due to a big lie his whole life by his mom. Well she recently passed and we found this picture of a guy in the military.

Not sure if it is him but we think it really might be. We are stuck on where to go from here in identifying the guy in the picture. I dont know if theres a way to do a photograph search or what to do.

ANY info on the picture would help. Possibly what year that military uniform would be or a way to access those old database of pictures. Any one that can help this would really be awesome.
