My mother's maiden name was Ytuarte

Posted by Reynaldo (Ray) Ytuarte Aguilar <ray.aguilar@mac.com> on Fri, 19 Sep 2008, in response to Ytuarte, posted by Esperanza Y. Guzman on Fri, 29 Aug 2008

My grandfather Mariano Ytuarte married Refugia Vidal. Their second second of three female children was my mother also named Refugia. I don't know when my grandmother was born or where but she died in May of 1918 at which time my mother was short of only 4 years old. Her older sister Celia died a spinster and younger sister Olivia married.
Mariano had a wife named Sarah before Refugia and they had a daughter named Sarah. Mariano also married a couple of times after Refugia and in that marriage he did have male children that would have carried the name Ytuarte. All this time the families lived in south san antonio and visited family members in somerset and I believe Hondo.
Mariano died circa 1976 and lived on Pitluk street off Somerset Rd on the south side of San Antonio. I lived about 1/2 mile from him and graduated from south san antonio high school in 1978. Sadly, my grandfather and I did not have a relationship of any kind. Could we be related in some way.
