Posted by Lynn <maggiehaines@gmail.com> on Wed, 07 May 2008, in response to Native Status, posted by Alex Chiasson on Sun, 10 Feb 2008

Alex, the Ontario Metis Family Records Center is issuing Aboriginal Status Cards/Metis Status Cards internationally.
They require that you give them some of your family history on the application which they in turn use to locate you on their data base which consists of over 40 years of Aboriginal Research. They have almost all the Aboriginal Tribes dating back to the fur traders. Give them a call at 1-877-737-0770 or 613-332-4789. Applications online at: www.aboriginalstatus.org
