meaning of Suresh

Posted by Suresh <suresh.mahanta@gmail.com> on Fri, 22 Feb 2008, in response to Meaning of my name, posted by Suresh Soppa on Tue, 08 Jan 2008

The meaning of "SURESH" is "A tool of GOD"
In hindu mythology, BALARAM(Brother of Shrikrisna) is known as SURESH.
in HINDI, SURESH = SUR + ISH
where SUR = DEVATA or ISHWAR
and ISH = A tool to plough(which is found with GOD BALARAM)
