Your father
Posted by Cassandra Quintana <aamobilerepair@yahoo.com> on Mon, 17 Dec 2007, in response to tryin to find my father, posted by robin marie on Mon, 17 Dec 2007
Robin - I dont know your father, how ever I just met my mother after 35 years. I am now 40 years old and the difference between you and me are I remembered my mother. I was five when she left - not only did she leave my sister and I but our entire family. I was raised by my aunt (my mom's sister) Throughout the years I have tried to find her - unsucessfully. When I found out she was alive but in hospice dying with a lung disease, I didn't think I would have any feelings towards her. After seeing her the first Monday of December - 2007, I realized no matter what happened in the past - she is still my mother and I forgave her the moment I walked in the room. Life is too short to remain angry. When we are young - adults go through things we never understand - I promise you when you have your first child, peace will come over you and you will forgive him for walking out... your life, happiness and family is the most important thing - good luck and god bless.Responses
