it means...

My name is shanice too!
And im named after an american singer
I read somwhere that it has no meaning and
it came about in the
early ninties
to rhyme with "janice"
and that janice meant "god has been gracious"

but i also read it came from "shan" and "ice"
and that "shan" meant "god is gracious"

so yeah anything ive read
it has meant on the same lines as this.
