My name is shanice too =)
I read somwhere that it has no meaning.
it came about in the
early ninties
to rhyme with "janice"
and that janice meant "god has been gracious"

but i also read it came from "shan" and "ice"
and shan means "God is gracious"
and it is an english name.

so im guessing its a Christian name.
