Meaning of Sunil
Posted by सुनील aka SKG aka Sunil Gupta <sunilkgupta1@gmail.com> on Fri, 24 Aug 2007, in response to meaning of sunil, posted by SUNIL TULANI on Mon, 20 Aug 2007
Hi Sunil Tulani...from what ever I was told SUNIL has one possible meaning that implies...SUNIL is some one who does NOT listen to others...It seems genesis is from Sanskrit/Tamil where "SUN" ie सुन refers to the 1st part while "IL" would have initially implied "ILLE" prounced as इल्ली is a Tamil word (probabily written as ....) ILLE means "NO"....thus the suggestion that sunil could be someone who does not listen to others....sounds logical and does hold good for me....let me know if you know any other versionsResponses
