wythes of droitwhich

interesting reading we have done ten years research into wythes / wythe. We are all related john wythes mary crockett
seems to be where everybody gets to then struggles beyond that. Geoffry de hanbury 1200's seems to be our start. The motto of the wythes is upright in yeald and woe or bends but never breaks, relating to the willow trees that were mentioned.I live in the black country England about 10 miles from Droitwhich i have visited the churches where some of the wythes are buried even the local burger king has a picture of the shop one of the wythes used to own , think it was george, hanging on its wall.If you need names i will try to help
