Delena Oregon

I as you see i too am a Delena and i have good news for you! in 1994 my husband and i were married. we live in washington state and we were going to drive down the coast to california for our honeymoon. well we didn't make it to california but we did make it to oregon. when we were on our way home it was about dusk and i spotted a familiar word. i told him to turn around for i had just seen something. when we got turned around and were heading back i saw that i was right and we turned down this little road with the green street sign that said DELENA STREET in white lettering. we turned into what looked like a forgotten ghost town with only an abandoned large 2 story school that said Delena School 1912. I am 100% sure on the spelling and i have pictures of the street sign and the school(if you are interested i can email them to you.)i thought you would be interested. i have asked other people who are from oregon if they have ever heard of it and you are the first that i have ever heard of! pretty neat!! i was named after my mothers friend Blanch Delena(middle name)i to felt left out as a child but started liking it as a teenager and now i like that it is unique. i have read that it is greek mythology and aslo i have reads the it is old english also that it comes from Magdelena in the Bible. nice to talk to another Delena.Do oour name proud and live a happy life please e mail back. ps i am 36 and mother of 2 in washington state.
