Born, Deckert surnames from Germany, others

Hello! I'm looking for ancestry info on the following people:
Johannes Born, married to Katharina Gass, most likely from the Erfurt, Germany area. His son, Konrad is listed as a farmer from Erfurt on the 1930 census, and he was born in 1878, so I'm expecting Johannes to have been born no later than 1855 or so. Konrad immigrated in 1923, which leads me to believe Johannes either stayed in Germany, or immigrated separately. The family settled in Jarrettsville, MD.
The parents of Frieda and Richard Deckert. I know very little of the maternal g-grandparents, only that they were German, lived on the east coast- in MD and PA. Frieda married the son of Konrad Born, and I know the story from there, I'm looking for who her parents were. She was born in 1916, and her SSN was issued in MD, I don't know when.
Third, Joseph Matczak. According to my aunt and my father, Joseph was born in Slesin, Poland, and immigrated when he was about 8. He was born in 1903, so that would have been around 1911. He supposedly traveled with a brother or uncle that died on the boat over, and lived with a family in Pewaukee, WI. He later moved to Waukesha. I wonder if there might still be family in Poland, or if others immigrated later.Thank you for anything you might be able to tell me!
