thought we were rare!

Hi,
Am a cousin of Bill, living in Australia. Our family is relatively large. Many cousins. Have met a man with a similar surname. but his surname was spelt Helligars? Maybe a connnection there. Do not know much about our back ground. Great grandparents came from the Netherlands, Oma's maiden name was nee Van Dijk. Born in Bemmel Holland. In the 20's. Opa was a Hellegers. Same as Bill, my grandparents are Huib & Ben. For some strange reason, i thought there maybe was a spanish connection?
