My G-Grandfather was Jose Serapio Ortiz. He lived in Pecos, N.M. during the 1800's. My Grandmother used to say he was an Indio who could never stay in one place for any such time. She said he moved because of Epidemics there. He moved to las Ruedas then to Los Trigos. Much of the information that I have said that he lived there. My Grandmother lived to be 104 yrs. of age and she died during the 1980's. Our last name was also changed several times maybe because of the way it sounded. When my mother married my father it sounded like this. Ar-She, Arcia then Arce.Responses
