What's In a name?

Posted by Juan <Lookinginglass@yahoo.com> on Thu, 02 Mar 2006, in response to WHAT DOES MY NAME MEAN, posted by TINA RENEE' PATTERSON on Wed, 24 Dec 2003

My G-Great father was from Pecos, N.M., during the 1800. He moved from Pecos to Las Ruedas then to Los Trigos. According to what I have read it was because of epidmics, caused by the spanish who soon arrived there seeking freedom. But at what price? How can one be sure where their last name came from? Ours was Ar-She, Arcia, Ortiz, Fraga. Where does it all end. I wish I knew?
Its the first three I am interested in. If anyone know please give me peace of mind. Dreams are never realized until the end, or a full circle which never meets is realized.
