Last name Croxton

Posted by Steinar Johansen <steinar@optushome.com.au> on Fri, 06 Jan 2006, in response to my last name CROXTON, posted by Glenn Croxton on Sat, 08 Jan 2005

Croxton is supposed to have originated from the Vikings that brought it to England. The original spelling was Krokstun, which means a cleared area in the corner of something (a forest or a farm).
