I am DeLena

The internet is a wonderful thing. My name is also DeLena and somehow i feel like we are starting a support group but I like it! My mom named me and she said that she came up with the name when she was in the fourth grade.
I have only met one other person in my life witht the name DeLena and that was just by accident. I too felt awkward and slightly embarrased about my name growing up but I did appreciate being the only one EVER (to my knowledge @ the time) and not having to use my last inital to distinguish me from someone else. I have found DeLena listed in one baby book but the meaning was unknown.
