meaning of the name Delena

My name is Delena as well. My father named me after his sister who passed away when she was twelve. He was ten at the time. I have heard different versions of what our name means but have nothing solid. I just happened to search my name on the Internet after hearing a town was named Delena. I have always been complimented on our name but always seemed a little left out as a child when I couldn't find items with my name pre-printed on them. I would like to meet other Delena's. Maybe we could have some sort of Delena reunion?
