Kominis from Germany

Hallo Dimostheni,
I was very pleased and surprised to hear from you so quickly. Of course I´m interested to hear and learn more about the roots of my surname & my ancestors.
I was born in Germany since my father immigrated there in 1959 as one of the first greek immigrants in Germany after WW II. I´m a teacher in a secondary school in Stuttgart and I tried once (2 years ago)to go to DIKATSA but my certificate was disavowed and so I´m teaching now at a German school. Maybe one day I´ll teach at the German school of Athens which was a dream of mine for a long period of time. But my fiancee who is Greek either (she´s from Evros) now finished her studies in Architecture is told by several people that there´s no way for her get a job in Greece in her profession which could satisfie her and so I´M PLANNING TO SPEND SOME MORE YEARS (IF NOT THE REST OF OUR LIFE) HERE IN GERMANY. Life´s all right here since 15000 Greeks live in Stuttgart. We have our own clubs, restaurants, offices for every kind of things,...
My cousin who was mayor in Zefiri for many years could be familiar to you. His name is Apostolis Zervas and he is the son of my mother´s sister.
My father knows some facts about the Kominis roots (I don´t know what is really true or just delivered) and if you are interested at some details I could ask him for more informationbecause right now I´m not quite sure about specific dates and also about what he exactlx told me,you know, it´s a couple of years ago that I had a discussion about this issue.
