Looking for my Dad

My fathers name is Robert Powell he was a singer know around the Bolton and Leigh in Lancashire area around the 1940'50's time. He was thought of as the 2nd Richard Tauber. He will be in his 80's by now if he is still alive, God willing. I have been searching for many years please help if you can. Any iformation no matter how small would be gratefully recieved.
