Saludos

Alessandro Bocaletti from Mantova, Italy. He was my grand-grand-father. My grand-father was Lisandro Bocaletti - Dentist ("El Chato" Bocaletti, he played in the national soccer team http://www.prensalibre.com/especiales/ME/guatefut/12.html) and my dad was Hugo Bocaletti - Engineer. According to my aunt (Olga Bocaletti, Hugo's sister), Alessandro and his brothers came from Italy at the end of XIX century or the beginning of XX century to America. Three of them stayed in Guatemala, the others I think went to Costa Rica (I'm not sure, I'll ask her). All the Bocalettis in Guatemala come from those three brothers that stayed here. There are the Bocalettis from Antigua and the Bocalettis from "La Parroquia"... Ah! the original name was Bocaletto and not Bocaletti but when they came to Guatemala the spelling change (the same thing must have happened from Bocaletti to Boccaletti). Most likely your fathers/grand fathers must know more about this relationtips but I think that we are related. :) I'll be in touch to tell you what my aunt says.
Hugo and Olga didn't have more siblings. Hugo passed away almost 10 years ago. I'm the oldest of 5, Karla, Hugo Roberto and Julio Enrique Bocaletti Gomez and Carlos Alberto and Silvana Bocaletti Herrarte (my dad got married twice).
Cheers,
Karla
