Wythe family in London

Dear Romi,
I just read my emails for the week and too am very excited about your post. Please send me any information you wish to share. I am picking my mother and her sisters brain for any tidbits of information that may help. Before my grandmother (Alice Wyeth's daughter in law) died in 1973, she wrote out a list of family names to research. She wrote "find George Wythe signor of Declaration of Independance". While we have looked at this many times - it has just now registered with us what she wrote. While doing genealogy research we have always searched for Alice Nina Wyeth, and untill reading my grandmother's letter once again, we connected that we were spelling her maiden name incorrectly all these years. After reviewing other records I was able to confirm that indeed we were searching for the wrong spelling of her name! My great grandmother Alice married Richard Doucette, around 1900 and lived in Cambridge/Boston area I believe. I will gather any names of brothers or sisters and send to you as well, and possibly we could find a link. I am thrilled to receive your email. Thank you so much!
