where did my mom go

I'm 28 years old. I'm looking for my birth mother. Her name is Julie Melody something. At one point her last name was Farmer. She was born January 2 1953. She delivered me at Maricopa couny hospital in Arizona on October 9 1976. She named me Jennifer Maria Farmer. She contracted Encephalitis. I'm unsure when she contracted it though. She moved to Northhampton Mass. in 1977. Julie had a half brother named Doug Walters that considered adopting me, but understandingly decided this was not the right decision. If any of this sounds familiar please let me know. It would mean a great deal to me.
