Alvin's daughter

Thanks for clearing up the fact that you are indeed Alvin's daughter. The only time that I met a McCottry that I did not know was when I served in Vietnam and met your Uncle Melvin who was a Captain in the Army, I was a Spec4. The next time I saw him after that was at your Uncle David's funeral in Bermuda, more than 15 years later.
There is not an african-american McCottry living that cannot be traced to our family in South Carolina. As fars as the white Mccottrys are concerned, there is no blood relation and I have not personally met any. However, some of the older members of our clan has met some white McCottrys. Peace and Love to you in the New Year Ty. Give my regards to all who bear the name and share the blood.
