Your grandmother

Posted by John Hynes <john@hytronix.com> on Fri, 29 Oct 2004, in response to Find my Grandmothers living relatives, posted by Caroline Fillion on Tue, 22 Jun 2004

Greetings,

You metion that your relative is from St. Hermenegilde, NH.

If it helps in your search, St. Hermenegilde is in southern Quebec, Canada. My grandmother was from that town as well, and was also half native (Micmac). I have some contacts there, and occasionally visit (once a year or so, when I'm on my way through) so I could write some letters or ask around for you. Oddly, many families from that town ended up in Berlin, NH, and I have lots of family there too. I can ask around about your family names. Email me at john@ytronix.com if you're interested.

-John
