Bach-Lewinski

Posted by David Lewinski <Lewinski_david@yahoo.fr> on Mon, 06 Sep 2004, in response to Informação sobre seu bisavô, posted by Valéria von Paraski on Thu, 15 Jul 2004

In 1382 there was a Peter von Lewin who was the Lord of Sierakowitz south of Karthaus. In 1772 there was stil a Petrus von Levin living in Sierakowitz. As the v.d.Bach family probably arrived in this region in the XIVth century I think that those von Lewin are probably the same as the v.d.Bach-Lewinski's.

The german noble family v.d.Bach owned land and took the names from the following towns:Gowino (Gowinski), Kolkowo (Kolkowski),Lewino (Lewinski),Mielwino (Milwinski),Paraszyno (Paraski and Paraszinski),Poblocie (Poblocki and Poblotzki),Strzebielino (Stzebilinski),Wyczlin (Wyczlinski),Wyszecin (Wyszinski),Zelewo (Zelewski)

Best regards,
D.LEWINSKI
