finding my father

I was born to Jacqueline Kofoed on Aug 11, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah. My father's name is Doug Richards. He lived in Provo Utah at the time. I never had the opportunity to know him as he was married to another. He also had other children. My mother and I left SLC 6 months after I was born. I know that he knew about me and I have no idea if he is still alive, but I would really like to know of him or of his family.
