looking for my daughter

my daughter rayjean hyder her married name now is becker i last seen her when she was 3 months old for some reason the girl i went with didn't want anything to do with me after she was born her parents wouldn't let me see her and then her mother gave her up to her sister to adopt. i am now 53 years old this happened when i was 16. it has been terrible for me for years but i don't know what to do i don't even know if they ever told her she has a father i don't know how to go about finding out anything and i don't want to hurt her by letting her know because they never told me what they said to her. i talked to rayjeans mother years ago but she wouldn't tell me anything i begged her to please let me see her but she wouldn't. i really don't know how to handle this if you know anyone who has been through this type of thing that may be able to help me let me know my e-mail address is bshaffer4@woh.rr.com thank you
