Help In Finding my Apache Heritage

Posted by Sandra A. Lucio <sakarii@aol.com> on Tue, 30 Dec 2003, in response to mescalero, posted by manuel hastiin on Sun, 09 Nov 2003

My father is Apache and I am trying to find out more about our family. I know that his grandmother was named Patricia
Pantoja and she lived to be 107, no birth record has been found so far. I know that my great-grandmother died September 1966.Patricia out lived three husbands and she had four children. My grandfather Luz Lucio is the only living child left and he is now 90, and does not remember a whole lot of his childhood... but knows he is Apache. I am intrested in finding out more information also on the Mescalero Apache Chief San Juan, my father and Chief San Juan could pass as identical twins. I have been trying to do some research on San Juan, but I have not found alot.
