No, it is neither Serbian, nor Russian. I am a Bulgarian, personally, but I do not claim it is Bulgarian either. It might be a good guess to say it is a Slavonic name.Lazarov means "the son of Lazar" (someting like "Ereikson"). Its origins are in Hebrew - as far as I know, Lazarus, who Jesus ressurected is the English for "Lazar", which is a Hebrew name and means "a begger".
