JOSEPH ALVES

I was wondering if anyone can help me in the search for my father’s father. I know at some time he was a resident in Boston, Massachsetts, Arlington Rd? and would like to know if there was a forwarding address, or you know of him or his family so you may pass this on. I do realise that he may be getting old and may not be alive but we would also like to get in touch with his surviving family.His name is Joseph Alves, he was in England during the 2nd world war, in and around Watford, Hertfordshire when he met my Nan. After my father was born Joseph returned to America, but I do know that he wanted to take my father with him but my Nan wouldn’t allow this. I am also aware that he corresponded with my father ( who is named Paul Joseph Hanson ) up until the 60’s,I have tried other searches to no avail.
There are many reasons we need to contact him and his family , but most importantly there has recently been a tragedy in our family which may be connected to Joseph’s, we are desperate to be in touch. Is there any chance you could help us? This help from yourselves could change our lives.
