Thanks for replying to my message. I can't believe that your Dad came from Ward Green, I live so close to Ward Green. My family comes from Worsbrough Bridge which your Dad will know is next door to Ward Green. I don't think that I have a reletion called Anne, but I could be mistaken. I now live in Barnsley central on Cemetery road Your Dad probably knows where that is as well. My grandad was called Frank Scothorn and my Dad is called Keith he has two sisters, Tina and Sheila and one brother, Philip. Did your dad go to White Cross School when it first opened or did he go to another school if he did he probably went to school with one of my relations, it would be interesting to find out. He may know of my family anyway my Grandad was the Mayor of Worsbrough before it became the Metropolitan Borough Council.
