Scothorn Family

Posted by Tracey Baker <KIDDYJACKS@aol.com> on Wed, 14 May 2003, in response to any others out there, posted by paul scotthorne/ david scotthorne on Tue, 13 May 2003

Hi Paul
As you are aware I am researching the scothorn family tree. I never knew when I started that there would be so many people with the same name. Have you lived in Canada all your life, and if so can you trace your family back to the UK. When I started I didn't think I would have much luck but there has been so many people in so many different countries been in touch. Research has shown that almost every person with Scothorn (including different spellings) surname are related in some way. A lady in America can trace her family back to the UK to a man called Robert Scothorn who lived in Nottinghamshire, the next County to where I live in South Yorkshire. Does the name seem familiar to you? Hope to hear from you soon.
